Over the past few weeks we heard some rumors about the prices that will be charged for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones, but today we get some more credible info. Both these handsets showed up in a Ukrainian retailer’s database alongside the colors that will be available at launch.
Well, the products called Galaxy S8 (SM-G950) and Galaxy S8 Plus (SM-G955) will be available in black, gold and Orchid Gray colors – this last one shade being a novelty for the S-line. As for the prices, it seems that the regular 5.8 inch smartphone will cost around $950, while the Plus variant will be priced at $1050.
Compared to Galaxy S7, the price will be with up to $100 higher. This happens as Samsung decided to boost the screen size and to offer an edge-to-edge experience on the new flagship. According to the latest rumors, we’ll see Quad HD+ panels here with curved margins, 4 GB of RAM and Exynos and Qualcomm variants.
