Verizon has just introduced the successor to the Samsung Knack model, Samsung Haven. The handset is pictured below and available for online order right now, with a shipping date estimated around July 29th. It’ll go for $40 with a new 2 year contract.
As you can see, Samsung Haven sports a clamshell design and we know that its specs list includes a 2.2 inch 176 x 220 pixel internal screen, a 1.07 inch 96×96 pixel external display. Dedicated ICE (In Case of Emergency) buttons are also on board, as well as 16MB of RAM, 64MB ROM memory and support for dual band CDMA with CDMA 2000 1x RTT data.
An interesting addition to the phone is a medical info app, customizable with medical notes, allergies and medications.
