Samsung just introduced a brand new handset, the SCH-W899 model, that’s pretty unique as far as design is concerned. We’re talking clamshell here, but not any clamshell, one with a dual display facade and these screens are both 3.3 inch Super AMOLED material.
This is quite a sophisticated piece of equipment, that will be worth the buck, although it’s only available in China for now. What’s also appealing is the fact that this device runs Android 2.2 Froyo and comes with a 5MP camera, 512MB internal memory and a microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB.
In the connectivity segment, you get CDMA EV-DO on China Telecom and GSM roaming. Will this handset ever reach the US or Europe?
