Samsung isn’t at its first attempt of launching a luxury mobile phone, but its similar past initiative, together with Bang & Olufsen didn’t work out so well. Now it’s time for take, meaning the the manufacturer will once again try to hit the luxury market with Ego S9402, its latest handset.
This is a DuoS device we’re talking about, so it sports 2 SIM cards and comes with a 5 megapixel camera, a microSDHC memory card slot (up to 8GB), a QVGA AMOLED display and a 960 mAh battery.
As far as connectivity goes, the new Samsung Luxury phone supports triband GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz), GPRS/EDGE (1st SIM card) and dual band (900/1800 MHz), GPRS/EDGE connectivity on the second SIM card.
Samsung Ego GT-S9402 features 1GB of internal memory and sadly lacks 3G support, but the rest of its specs make it worth the money you’d maybe spend on a Vertu, withouth the same geeky satisfaction.
