According to a report from Digitimes it seems that both LG and Samsung will continue launching on the market wireless-charging enabled devices. These manufacturers had already launched smartphones supporting wireless charging technology, devices like Galaxy S5 and LG G3.
While the wireless charging modules for Samsung are produced by affiliates like Samsung Electro-Mechanics, LG got these modules from LG Innotek. We find out that Galaxy S5 and LG G3 are currently using electromagnetic induction for wireless charging, but there is another option to use electromagnetic resonance as an alternative.
We get to know the fact that Samsung Electro-Mechanics and LG Innotek are the main module providers along with RFTech, Hansol Technis, DongYang E&P, WisePower and Hanrim Postech. While the wireless charging sounds very good, we still expect a new type of batteries to offer a great autonomy for our smartphones.
