South Korea’s first Android 2.1 phone (and Android phone for that matter), Samsung SHW-M100S was recently announced and now it’s been captured on camera, if you’re curious to see it in action. Here’s the first part of the hands on action with the device, with the second following after the break:
Samsung SHW-M100 runs Android 2.1 on top of a 800 MHz CPU and we expect it to reach the market in March, via SK Telecom. The handset shows its beautiful 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen display in the video above and you should know that there’s also a 5 megapixel camera on board, supporting 720p video recording.
Towards the end of the first vid, the device is compared to the iPhone, in size and we have to admit that this is quite a bulky phone. Other specs include WiFi, mobile TV, DivX, GPS and the TouchWiz interface, presumably in a new version.
