Samsung has just announced a new handset for the Indian market and no, this is not yet another Corby model, as some of you might expect. We’re talking about the Metro 5200 phone, a slider that’s only 10.9mm thick and comes with moderate specs.
Its specs list includes a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and face detection, quad band GSM connectivity, a 2.1 inch 240 x 320 pixel color screen and FM radio with RDS. There’s also a music player on board, as well as 50MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot.
Last, we learn that the device uses a Fake Call feature, supports office docs and uses an 800 mAh battery, providing up to 5 hours of talk time.
