Samsung Telecommunications America has just unveiled a new mobile phone, the Jitterbug J in Red model. This part of a health and wellness initiative from Jitterbug, that encourages women to talk about heart disease and fight against it. The handset comes with health and wellness apps and services.

Such software includes “Daily Health Tips”, allowing users to get health tips directly on their phone from the American Heart Association. The Jitterbug J handset also comes with the LiveNurse service, connecting the user to a medical and support service available 24/7.

Samsung Jitterbug J in Red packs a powerful and loud speaker, a bright, large display and Bluetooth support. The handset will be available starting this month and it comes with a 2.1 inches internal screen, a 1.07 inch external screen and 50 entries phonebook.
