Long before Samsung made any official comment regarding the device, the Galaxy Note 8.0 was rumored to be announced during MWC in Barcelona. The newest device in the Note line-up offers improved software features and a very powerful hardware configuration to make it worthy of the line.
Samsung has officially introduced the long rumored Galaxy Note 8.0. The device was so made that is light and easy to hold with one hand, while you´re taking advantage of the improved S-Pen software with the other. It is slightly larger then the Galaxy Tab 7.0 and has a familiar design characteristic to the line, that suits it very well. The Note 8.0 also features some apps included for the first time in a Galaxy Tablet: Flipboard and Awesome Note. The Note 8.0 will be available as the N5100 – supporting HSDPA and EDGE Class 12 and the N5110 – a wireless only variant.
The Note tablet has a 8-inch display that offers the 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The device comes with Android Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos chip and 2GB of RAM. There is a a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front, 16 / 32 GB of internal storage variants and a micrSD card slot for expansion. The tablet will be available worldwide in Q2 this year in Wi-Fi only, 3G and 4G LTE versions.
