Samsung has just confirmed the fact that Omnia II is coming to Verizon soon, since there’s a dedicated web page for the handset on Samsung Mobile USA’s site. It seems that the device will be a Verizon exclusive, at least in the beginning, but it’ll probably reach other carriers as well, in the following months.
Omnia II for Verizon should be the CDMA version of the European Omnia II i8000 and it’ll run Windows Mobile 6.1 and incorporate an impressive 3.7 inch AMOLED display with a 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The TouchWiz 2.0 3D UI is also on board, together with WiFi, GPS, DVD quality video recording, a 5 megapixel camera and an 800 MHz processor.
