Samsung’s virtual assistant Bixby has received a trademark application for its logo today, according to a leak. Below you can check out the official document and the logo itself, a stylized version of the letter “B”, mixed up with the figure 8.

The assistant is going to debut during the Galaxy S8 launch event taking place at the end of March. We recently learned that this AI-powered system will support 7-8 languages out of the box, including the likes of English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Spanish and more. It’ll compete with Alexa, Google Assistant, Cortana and Siri and hopefully it’ll have a more human feedback rather than some of those robotic assistants.

Samsung is rumored to bring Bixby to many other products, maybe also other smartphones and tablets, TV sets or even fridges. Just like its competitors, this solution will let you set reminders, open apps, do web searches, set routes for navigation and learn the weather or sports scores. It will probably also have some machine learning in the mix, so it’ll adapt to your needs and learn from you.
