Samsung isn’t only prepping smartphones for us, but also wearables, proving that the segment is not quite dead yet. A device going by the name of Gear fit Pro has been trademarked recently, leading us to believe a new fitness tracker is coming.

Samsung’s Gear Fit and Gear Fit 2 were two very solid wearables, with excellent designs, bright screens and curved bodies. They had pretty accurate pedometers and pulse scanners, plus the battery life was reasonable. The second model also added a GPS and some extras and now a third generation seems to be ready. The Gear Fit Pro could come to MWC 2017, or maybe this summer, with the Galaxy Tab S3.

The design will most likely keep the compact and curved format, GPS will of course be present, plus the pulse scanner. A great independence from the phone could be guaranteed by the Pro branding. Its very own connectivity is likely.
