The Skyfire browser is available now, in the 1.5 version and you have to know that this is the most advanced mobile browser for Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 devices. An Android version is also coming, specially thanks to the acquisition of Skyfire by Kolbysoft, the creators of the Steel Android browser.

Back to version 1.5, we learn that the browser works on the latest Nokia touchscreen handsets, running Symbian S60 5th Edition. The software supports high res screens (VGA/WVGA) and it comes with a finger-friendly UI and client/server upgrades for a faster browsing experience.

Among the features of Skyfire 1.5 there’s smooth scrolling (kinetic scrolling; pan and flick), full screen mode, updated Flash and Silverlight (latest versions) and crisp texts, plus better video quality. You can get the new version of the browser from this address, if you want to try it out.
