During last week’s Macworld, Sling Media demonstrated its SlingPlayer, which was unveiled as a prototype fro Mac HD and it’ll hit the iPhone soon as an app. SlingPlayer for Mac HD will work with Slingbox PRO-HD and allow the users to stream high definition content on their Macs, while the iPhone app will be submitted to Apple for testing and approval in this quarter.
No info on the app’s price, but we do know that SlingPlayer for Mac HD will be available for free through Sling.com in Q1. Mac owners will use Safari or Firefox to gain access to HD streaming and Live TV via Sling.com.
