Very few phones get launched on big holiday days, but Smartistan T2 is one of the select few. The device is going to debut during a conference on December 25th and it has just been leaked via Weibo.
The leak involves both renders of the device and a benchmark. The smartphone packs a hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor, as well as 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Upfront there’s a 5 inch Full HD display and at the back we find a 13 megapixel camera. For selfies, we’ve got a 5 MP shooter and the device runs Android 5.1.1 and comes with a design that reminds me a bit of the Amazon Fire Phone somehow.
The T2 is also said to come with an USB Type C port, fingerprint scanner and perhaps even Force Touch support, although that’s not 100% sure. The fact it scores only a few thousand points less than the Galaxy S6 in AnTuTu is certainly a compliment (64k points). Looking forward to learning the price for the handset!
