Sony Ericsson Aino is now available in the US, unlocked and going for $599.99, via the SonyStyle online shop. Too bad that the device proved to be popular enough to be out of stock right now, but you can still order it and get it after the stocks are refilled.
This handset comes with support for 850/1900 MHz UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, so that means it’ll work on AT&T 3G network. In case you’re wondering why Aino has the potential of selling like hot cakes, know that it comes with a 3 inch TFT touchscreen display (240 x 432 pixels), GPS with Google Maps, WiFi, a microSD card slot and an 8MP camera at the back, complete with autofocus and LED flash.
The new Sony Ericsson handset also supports video recording at 30 fps and it’s bundled with an 8GB memory card. Another interesting feature is the fact that this phone can be used as a PS3 remote controller, thanks to its sliding alphanumeric keypad.
