Sony Ericsson has just announced that it will be making the Xperia Ray available in the States, as one of the latest model in the Xperia series. This sexy phone comes with a 3.3 inch display and a 8.1 megapixel camera, that’s probably better than any other cam of the same resolution on the market.

This handset also uses Reality display technology, an Exmor R sensor and runs Android 2.3.4. All of these are integrated into an aluminum chassis and the overall package weighs under 4 ounces. Xperia Ray is available in white, black, pink and gold and can be found at Newegg and other online retailers these days.

Mobile Bravia Engine technology, Facebook inside Xperia and over 200k apps from Android Market await you on this handset. In case price interests you, the Ray goes for $424.99 at newegg.com and it can be found for similar prices, of course unlocked at other e-tailers.
