We and probably every Sony fan out there have been having wet dreams about a new Cybershot and Walkman handset for a while now and while the last Live With Walkman attempt was poor, we’re talking high end this time. Rumors are saying that Sony is back to its roots and CEO Kaz Hirai wants new Cybershot and Walkman Xperias.
The information is not confirmed by Sony or verified, but it sounds like a valid theory, since the Cybershots and Walkmans were very loved by the public. Supposedly, there are 3 flagships coming in Q3: a 5 inch Xperia Cybershot, packing the best camera on all smartphones, a 5 inch Xperia Walkman and an iPhone rival with the same Cybershot Xperia camera.
The 5 inch Xperia Cybershot would have a sensor size equal to PureView 808 and Carl Zeiss optics as well, while the Walkman comes with an amplifier chip and all the goodies of Walkmans. Finally, the iPhone thingie will have a smaller form factor and a brilliant set of specs. Which one will you choose?
