Today, on May 13th, Sony announced a new smartphone device in its origin country, more precisely the Sony Xperia A4. This phone looks pretty interesting mostly when we’re looking at its specs and the fact that we get a 4.6 inch display, the same one found on Xperia Compact phones. Thereby, Xperia A4 could be just a Japanese variant of the unannounced X4 Compact.
The phone comes with a 4.6-inch HD Triluminous display (1280 x 720 pixels), a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM memory and 16 GB space of internal storage. The camera is a 20.7 megapixel sensor with LED flash, while the selfie cam is a 2.2 megapixel unit.
Xperia A4 measures 128 mm in length, 66 mm in width and 9.1 mm in thickness, a little bit heavier compared to the Z3 Compact. We get a 2.600 mAh battery, WiFi, 4G LTE, IPX5/8 and IP6X waterproof certification, and Android 5.0 Lollipo operating system.
This device will be available through DoCoMo starting this summer. The price is still unknown for the moment.
