The Sony Honami cameraphone has leaked on the Internet a bunch of times over the past weeks, but never so convincing as today, via the Chinese retailer ePrice. As you can see, the design is quite similar to the one of the Xperia Z, but the bezels are not that narrow, sadly.
Specs of the Honami include a 5 inch Full HD Triluminous display with X Reality engine and a 2.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor, as well as 2 GB of RAM. We’ve got 16 GB of internal storage with support for microSD cards and at the back there’s a 20.7 megapixel camera with Sony G Lens. The interesting fact is that the Sony G Lens technology is detailed in the listing on ePrice.
Apparently, by using it, the handset gives out exceptional optical performance on par with the best lenses out there. We’ve got excellent reproduction of fine details and high color fidelity thanks to aspheric lenses. Completing the specs list are a 3000 mAh battery, NFC, LTE and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The phone measures 8.3 mm in thickness and it’s both water and dust proof.
It will come at IFA 2013 in Berlin, in September.
