While Sony may not be bringing the Xperia Z4 to MWC 2015, they may as well launch a few appealing midrange phones. Among them we find the Xperia M4 Aqua, that just leaked on the web. This device is shown below thanks to some internal documents.

This is merely a mention of the product in an internal table of sorts, that also shows software versions for various devices. The phone will come with Android Lollipop preinstalled and if the name Aqua is any indication, it will be an IP68 rated unit, that will be able to survive a serious dunk in water or two. Sadly, there’s not much extra info to go by.

The Xperia M4 Aqua should follow the Xperia M2 Aqua, that offered a 4.8 inch qHD display and quad core Snapdragon 400 CPU. I expect a bump in screen size and resolution, maybe a 64 bit CPU and perhaps more than the 1 GB of RAM of the predecessor. The 8 MP camera could remain the same.
