A couple of days ago, more precisely on July 15, a Sony device with the D6603 model number received certification from FCC (Federal Communications Commission). Also, FCC certified another Sony device too with the D6616 model number.
While the D6603 could be the standard Xperia Z3 flagship, the D6616 could be just a carrier variant. According to the FCC documents, the device comes with LTE connectivity on 2, 4, 5, 7, 13 and 17 bands, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, NFC and an infra-red sensor.
Among some of the features of the Xperia Z3 we could see a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and a 20.7 megapixel main camera sensor. Sony Xperia Z3 is expected to show up in September at IFA 2014.
