Sony unveiled today the Xperia Z3+, a sort of international flagship version of the Z4, basically a Snapdragon 810 high end device meant for everyone. The handset is pictured below and comes in an interesting copper color.
Measuring 6.9 mm in waistline and weighing 144 grams, this handset is quite slim and compact. It’s obviously waterproof and dust proof, in the IP65/68 standards and it also brings an USB port without a lid. Inside there’s the octa core 64 bit Snapdragon 810 processor, while at the back we find a 20.7 megapixel camera. Upfront we have a 5 MP shooter for selfies and the front speakers have been moved to the edges of facade.
There’s a 5.2 inch Full HD screen on board and the design involves metal frames and tempered glass back and front. The product will come in 4 colors black, white, copper and ice green. The back camera offers a 25 mm wide angle G Lens and software-wise get the Superior Auto mode again, that can recognize up to 52 different scenes.
ISO goes up to 12800 and the camera also does 4K video. Sony promises up to 2 day battery life and offers LTE Cat 6 here. Sony Xperia Z3+ also comes with support for PS4 Remote Play2, allowing you to connect the handset to the PlayStation 4 and play remotely in the house. The device will be in stores in June.
