We’ve already reviewed the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium here at GSMDome.com and now it’s time to give the Xperia Z5 a try. After all it’s this device that’s naming the series that debuted at IFA 2015 last fall. Below you can watch the phone being unboxed and know that it’s priced at $500 on Amazon.
This model has inside the box a charger, charger adapter, headphones and their plugs, as well as manuals and USB cable. We’re dealing with a 5.2 inch smartphone with Full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 810 CPU inside and 3 GB of RAM. We also get 32 GB of storage and a water and dust proof body. Sony included a microSD card slot behind a lid here and Android 5.1 as the OS.
We’re already at Marshmallow, since the device got updated right after the unboxing was done, so we’ve got exciting stuff for the review. Xperia Z5 brings a 2900 mAh battery and a 23 megapixel main camera, with hybrid autofocus, up to 8X digital zoom and 4K video capture. It weighs 154 grams, measures 7.3 mm in thickness and packs a 5 MP selfie camera, as well as a fingerprint scanner embedded within the side Power button.
We’ll be back with a full review soon. In the meantime the updated price is here.
