A crazy set of rumors regarding the future of the Xperia series has arrived today. We’re talking about the Xperia Z6 models and although Sony is said to launch less handsets than this year in 2016, we’re apparently ready to see 6 Xperia Z6 models next year.
Sources say that we should expect a 4 inch Xperia Z6 Mini, a 4.6 inch Xperia Z6 Compact, a 5.2 inch Xperia Z6, a 5.8 inch Xperia Z6 Plus and a 6.4 inch Xperia Z6 Ultra. Then there’s the rumor about the Xperia Z6 Lite, that’s also in the making and expected to cost around $385. The talk of the town (Mobile-dad) is that this model will come with a 5 inch screen with unknown resolution and a rear cover made of metal.
It will be powered by a hexa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, previously known as the Snapdragon 618 and it may arrive with the rest of the Z6 family, most likely around May 2016. We take all of the details with a big grain of salt, so till we see leaked pictures, nothing can be taken for granted.
