Spice, a phone brand from India has debuted two new smartphones, the Stellar 449 3G and the Stellar Mi-508. The first is priced at $103 and the second at $102, so their prices are basically the same, but the designs are not, as shown below.

These are affordable smartphones we’re talking about here and sadly we don’t have a release date for them. The phones are dual SIM models and the Stellar 449 3G comes with a 4.5 inch 480 x 854 pixel display (IPS), a 1 GHz dual core processor, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage, as well as a microSD card slot (up to 32 GB). The handset integrates a 3.2 MP back camera with LED flash, a front 1.3 MP shooter and 3G, WiFi, microUSB, GPS and GPRS/EDGE.

Inside there’s a 1450 mAh battery, supposed to offer 4 hours of talk time and up to 192 hours of standby time on a 2G network. The device is discounted at $82 on a local Indian retailer. The Spice Stellar Mi-508 integrates a 5 inch IPS screen with the same resolution, a dual core unnamed CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz, 512 MB of RAM and an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash. It uses 4 GB of storage, microSD, Bluetooth, but it doesn’t have 3G support.

Finally, it offers a 2000 mAh battery, good enough for 4 hours of talk time or 192 hours of standby time. This unit is also discounted at $82 on the same local retailer.
