Sprint and LG have recently announced the LG Remarq handset, an eco-friendly phone that incorporates parts made from recycled plastic. The packaging is 100% made using recycled materials, while the charger is Energy Star-compliant, making the unit even more eco-friendly.

LG Remarq incorporates a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a QVGA display and a 1.3 megapixel camera, plus a memory card slot. It also supports social networking features and services like FaceBook, MySpace, PhotoBucket, Twitter and many more.

Remarq goes for $50 with a 2 year contract and after a mail-in rebate.
