Since BUILD 2013 is in full bloom these days, it’s about time we got to see new Windows Phone 8 handsets from HTC and Samsung. The US carrier Sprint made the unveiling of the two newcomers: HTC 8XT and Samsung Ativ S Neo.

HTC 8XT adopts some elements from the HTC One, like the BoomSound front facing stereo speakers for example. The handset goes for $99 on contract and comes with Beats Audio, a dedicated amplifier and an 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.6 megapixel front cam. The 8XT relies on a dual core Snapdragon 400 1.4 GHz CPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and a microSD card slot.

This device packs a 4.3 inch display and moving on to the Samsung device, the Ativ S Neo uses a 1.4 GHz dual core CPU, 1 GB of RAM, a microSD card slot and a 4.8 inch display. There’s a rear 8 MP camera and front 1.9 MP front cam. Ativ S Neo includes several Samsung apps and features, like the Ativ Beam, Now, Manga Camera, Photo Editor and more. Its price is $149.99 on contract.
