Swype for Symbian beta has moved on from being an English-based input system to a more international one, by adding new languages. Now, German, French and Polish speakers are welcome to download the software and type much faster on their handsets.

You can install new language packs right now but only after you have the main app installed first. The phone’s “Writing Language” must be set up to fit the one in Swype’s supported languages. The Symbian Team recommends that you set the language to English at first and change it from Swype for writing.

Feedback is welcome, as usual.
