TCL announced a new handset today, one that impressed through its huge battery, a 5000 mAh unit. The newcomer is dubbed TCL Life+ and it brings a standby time of up to 90 days. The product will be sold starting with early May.
The device adopts a candybar design and relies on 2.5D glass, with Gorilla Glass protection. Life+ weighs 162 grams, has a rounded format and measures just 9.15 mm in thickness, which is actually pretty impressive. This model brings a 5 inch AMOLED display, while inside we find a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage.
There’s a microSD card slot in the mix, too, a 13 megapixel back camera and a front 5 MP shooter. Dual SIM slots and LTE are also included. Aside from the big battery, this model also brings Quick Charge functionality and reverse charging, so you can charge other devices using the Life+. The price is expected to be around $272.
