A new device prepared by Gionee is also the GN8001, smartphone that got it certification from TENAA a few days ago. From the specs point of view, we’re looking at a pretty interesting phablet with 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display (1920 x 1080 pixels), with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and with 3 GB of RAM memory on board.
Inside we have 32 GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot up to 128 GB, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie captures. Apparently, this phone will bring a 13-megapixel or a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone flash. The battery might have a 3000 mAh capacity.
On the connectivity side we’ll get 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB v2.0 port. Gionee GN8001 is a pretty heavy phablet weighting about 206 grams and measuring 8.2 mm in thickness. As you can see in the pictures, the phone looks pretty good, with that metallic body and glass on the front.
