Since Chinese retailers started to ship globally, we have the opportunity to get some amazing devices in our hands for just a couple of bucks. Such a device is the Cubot X15, a 5.5 inch phablet that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and provides some high-end specs. This device is now available at pre-order through EverBuying.net for a great price.
As you can see, from the design point of view, the phone is pretty amazing. If you’re watching the market, then you’ll definitely notice that this device looks a lot to the Huawei Mate 7, with a uni-body metallic body and slim bezels around the display. The borrowed look can also be found on the software this phone is currently running.
Getting to hardware, you must know that Cubot X15 brings a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display with 2.5D Glass on top, a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, a Mali-T720 GPU and 2 GB of RAM memory. There’s 16 GB space of internal storage and a microSD card that let us bring another 32 GB space of storage on the device.
The phone pictured above offers a 16-megapixel rear camera with a f/1.8 aperture (the same one as on the LG G4), and a 8-megapixel front-facing sensor with f/2.0 aperture. On the connectivity side we get dual-SIM support (microSIM + nanoSIM), GPS and A-PGS, OTG, a microUSB v2.0 port, HotKnot features and Bluetooth 4.0 + 4G LTE.
Cubot X15 brings a 2750 mAh battery that should offer a pretty decent lifetime. This device comes in the package with a power adapter, an USB cable, a leather case and also with a English manual. X15 weighs just 150 grams and measures 6.9 mm in thickness.
