Krusell usually provides a pretty neat insight on the market’s trends, since they deliver phone cases all over the globe, on six continents and in more than 50 countries.

They published a top 10 of the best selling cases of 2008, which pretty much indicates the public’s options for the past year. Number one is… the iPhone.

The handset is followed by three Nokia devices, the 3109, the 6300, which was also present in 2007’s top 10 (but on the second spot, not the third) and E51. On fifth spot we find HTC Touch Diamond, that sold quite a few cases recently and will definitely rank higher at the end of the current year. Next is the wonderful Nokia N95 8GB, on the sixth place, followed by a slew of Sony Ericsson devices.

K800i, C702, K850i and K530i end the top 10 in this order and if you feel that something’s missing from this list, you should give T-Mobile G1, HTC Touch Pro, XPERIA and 5800 XpressMusic more time… and maybe they’ll make it to the 2009 top ten.
