Torque is a Filipino company that has announced an interesting handset today, dubbed Droidz Pivot. This model comes with a rotating camera and a case colored in pink, so it’s a more feminine release.
The product runs Android 4.4 KitKat and relies on a quad core 1.2 GHz processor. It integrates a 5 inch IPS LCD screen with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution, as well as the 8 megapixel rotating cam mentioned above. It can rotate to 180 degree, by the way. The smartphone offers GSM/WCDMA connectivity and dual SIM slots.
Torque Droidz Pivot comes with Bluetooth 4.0 compatibility, WiFi, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage, as well as a 1700 mAh battery. Its price tag in the Philippines is $110, which is very affordable. From what I can see in the images, the headphone jack seems to have been moved on the side, which is an interesting approach.
