Toshiba seems to be preparing the next smartphones to follow the TG01 handset, with the K01 recently getting the FCC blessing. We’re talking about the slider pictured below, packing a 4.1 inch capacitive AMOLED touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard. There’s also a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU on board and more stuff that you’ll learn after the break.
FCC reveals that the handset supports 850/900/1800/1900 GSM/EDGE frequencies, so AT&T and T-Mobile will be selling the smartphone in the US. Toshiba K01 will also support Bluetooth and WiFi, plus some recent reports show that for now, the phone is heading towards Europe and Asia, supporting UMTS Bands I and VIII, plus 1900 Mhz data for North America.
