The guys at Phone Arena recently handed the Toshiba TG01 smartphone and reviewed it in front of the camera. What came out you can see in the video below and more details are available after the break:

TG01’s main appeal is the 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, but the handset’s features are packed in a very slim 9.9mm case, which is even more impressive. Also, the huge 4.1 inch touchscreen display is good enough to conquer the heart of any iPhone fanboy. The display supports a 480 x 800 pixel resolution and it shows a neat 3D interface, that would never have you guessing that Windows Mobile is working its magic on this handset.

Two touch sensitive buttons are placed below the display and they allow the user to reach the Home screen or take a step back in the menus. There’s also a zoom bar, also covered in the review and the 3.2 megapixel camera at the back, a tad disappointing, but still better than nothing. An annoying aspect is the fact that you’ll have to remove the back cover and battery in order to reach the microSD slot, but we’ll let it slide this time, for the sake of Toshiba’s hot smartphone

Toshiba TG01 runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional with a 3D Menu on top, consisting of 8 stripes, of which 3 are displayed at a time. You’ll swipe your way to each of them by using your finger on the screen and you should know that the stripes are in fact categories, like Applications, Settings, Media, Files, Tools and more.

More info on the virtual keyboard, camera and performance of the device can be found in the full review, right here.
