Dual SIM phones are all the rage in Asia and Eastern Europe right now, successfully replacing the two handsets you had to carry with you all the time. But how about triple SIM handsets? One such device was made by QiiQ Electronic Inc, a company based in the RAK Free Economic Zone in UAE.
To tell the truth, only 2 SIM cards on this phone can work at one time, so one of them will be in standby. You’ll basically have 3 numbers on a single cellphone, but one of them will be unavailable at a certain point. The specs of this device are pretty low and they include triple and double GSM connectivity, a 2 megapixel camera, a 2.4 inches QVGA display and a 2000 mAh battery.
We’re waiting for the quadruple SIM phone right now, or maybe for an accessory that allows you to add as many SIMs as you want.
