Turns out that January 18th is going to be a big day for the ZTE Nubia brand, that will unveil no less than two Snapdragon 820-powered handsets. One of them is the Nubia Z11, that we discussed here and the other is the Nubia X8.
The Z11 is said to have a dual curved screen, in pure Galaxy S6 Edge style and it will also pack 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a 5.2 inch Quad HD display and a 13 megapixel selfie camera, as well as a main 20.7 megapixel shooter. Android 6.0 is the OS of choice. As far as the Nubia X8 goes, last I heard it was on sale in the Nubia mobile shop, at $500.
It was supposed to be a 6 inch Quad HD unit, with 4 GB of RAM and a massive 5120 mAh battery. Listed as out of stock, this model has many people asking when it will be available. Interestingly our source also mentions the Nubia Z9, which is lesser specced, with a Snapdragon 810, 3 GB of RAM and a 5.2 inch screen.
One thing is for sure: January 18th is going to be an interesting day. The teasers below also give it an extra air of mystery, as if ZTE was unveiling a luxury car on that date.
