UMi has the honor of launching a product at the European show IFA 2016, where it’ll be showcasing its device tomorrow, on September 7th. Today we learn everything there is to know about the device, meant to be launched on the same day as the iPhone 7.
UMi Plus is made of 6000 Series aluminum and comes with a slim and strong metal chassis. It has a 5.5 inch screen with a panel made by Sharp and Full HD resolution in the mix, as well as 2.5D arc glass. There’s a fingerprint scanner upfront, with an unlocking speed of just 0.1 seconds, which sounds great. Inside we find the MediaTek Helio P10 octa core processor, as well as 4 GB of RAM made by Samsung and 32 GB of ROM.
Upfront there’s a 5 MP selfie shooter, while the main camera is a 13 MP one with a Samsung 3L8 sensor and PDAF. Finally, UMI Plus hosts a 4000 mAh battery, with fast charging via the USB Type C port. Priced at $219.99 normally, the product will be sold for $179.99 in the presale period, starting from tomorrow. A free model is offered here via a draw.
