First there was the Atrix HD, launched a couple of weeks ago and now Motorola is trying to build momentum and launch two new devices on US Cellular. One of them is the Electrify 2, a follow-up the famous Photon 4G and this model is available from yesterday online and from today in stores.

The new Electrify packs Android 4. ICS, a 4.3 inch ColorBoost display panel, a 1.2 GHz dual core CPU and Kevlar back. At the back we find an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video capture support and other feats include an 8.4mm thin profile and a splash guard for the phone, just like the one on the Atrix HD and Droid RAZR. Motorola’s Electrify 2 will be priced at $180 after a $100 mail in rebate and bundling a 2 year commitment. Another device you may be interested in s the Defy XT, that will launch on August 3rd.

This handset is a rugged unit, with an IP67 durability rating, a 3.7 inch FWVGA display with Gorilla Glass protection, Android 2.3 and a 1,700 mAh battery, plus a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording. Add to that a 1 GHz CPU and 512MB of RAM and you’re all set. No pricing yet on this model from US Cellular…
