Although with a name like JukeB you’d expect a handset to be a musical wonder, Virgin Mobile’s product with this name is no such thing. It’s actually a QWERTY Android smartphone with a pretty poor display and a pretty affordable price, seemingly.
This handset adopts the BlackBerry form factor or rather copies it and comes with Android 2.3.4 and a 12.43mm shell. The device weighs are mere 122 grams and supports a lousy resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, that’s no excuse for a handset in 2008 let alone today. However, Virgin Mobile is famous for its prepaid offers and cheap devices so this is probably one of them.
I still can’t figure out why they call if JukeB and where the music fits right here… Well, considering this model is made by TCT Mobile Suzhou Limited, the same company that makes Alcatel phones, the result will most likely be a low end model with a max price tag of $150.
