Vivo has been on a roll lately, between the launch of the APEX concept and leaks of upcoming notch phones. Now they’re back with what seems to be a flagship, but it’s once again a high midranger, with a notch. Let’s see what the Vivo X21 is all about.

I have to mention that Vivo is no regular company, since this year they’re the official main sponsor of the FIFA 2018 World Cup. By the way, they also sponsor the FIFA 2022 World Cup, just so you know. The handset seems to adopt a pretty trendy design, with narrow bezels, notch and dual back camera with vertical orientation. The product page of the handset appeared on JD.com, which is a big retailer from China.

Sadly, we have no specs for the device and I”m surprised to see it has a fingerprint scanner, which may have well been included within the screen. Instead it’s placed at the back here. Vivo is going to hold a special event on March 19th, when it will announce the Vivo X21 and X21 Plus, so we may learn more then. Last I heard, the device was supposed to debut the Qualcom Snadpragon 670 processor, which has yet to be launched.

It’s very rare that we see a 10 nm midrange CPU, so that’s the actual appeal. Expect a large resolution selfie camera and 6 GB of RAM.
