After the Vivo X5 Max handset debuted in December, as one of the thinnest handsets in the world, if not the thinnest, today we learn that a derived version of this handset is prepared for debut. The device is dubbed Vivo X5 Max-L and it has been certified by the TENAA.
The product is thicker than the 4.75 mm X5 Max, measuring 5.1 mm in thickness. The newcomer weighs 153 grams and it’s a quad band device with a 5.5 inch Full HD display. It also brings an octa core processor, clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and Android 4.4.4 as the OS. There’s a 5 MP front camera included and a 13 MP back shooter.
Internally we find 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and specs also include GPS, Bluetooth, a G Sensor, proximity and light sensor. From what I can see, both the Vivo X5 Max and the X5 Max-L have similar specs, so I expect the octa core CPU of the newcomer to be the same Snapdragon 615 64 bit unit. Dual SIM card slots are also included.
