The Vivo Xplay 3S is always in the news because it’s supposed to be the first smartphone with a 2K display. Of course, we could integrate it in the phablet segment, rather than smartphone, but for some reason its diagonal hasn’t been revealed. Now we get some fresh renders of the device, in various colors.

The handset is shown here in blue, gold, yellow, white and pink, all of them shiny and pretty. From what we know, this device will feature a 2K display, Snapdragon 800 processor, 3 GB of RAM and NFC. There’s also 4G LTE connectivity, USB 3.0 and Gorilla Glass. The renders here haven’t been confirmed just yet and if we’re to judge them by the recent rumors talking about a rotating camera, they shouldn’t be real.

It would be strange for another model to adopt the Oppo N1 rotating camera already, without Oppo screaming bloody murder towards BBK Electronics, unless they’re part of a partnership or something. Is it worth it to get excited about a 2K phone? Will we feel the difference?
