Yesterday we spotted what looked like a press invite to the debut of the Vivo XPlay 5S handset, without a clear release date. Today, a few more details get unveiled, including some features of the handset and a possible debut time frame.
Analyst Pan Jiutang is the source of the info, claiming that the phone will be available by the end of February this year. Vivo Xplay 5S is going to be a flagship, with a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 6 inch screen with a 4K resolution, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. We’ll also get a 12 megapixel front camera and a back 21 megapixel shooter.
Xplay 5S is said to have a borderless design and measure between 7.2 and 7.6 mm in thickness. It’ll bring HiFi acoustics and high end camera features, plus offer support for phase detection autofocus. Eye recognition technology is also rumored for this model, as well as a fingerprint scanner integrated within the screen.
