Vivo is at again, prepping yet another phone for launch. This time it’s a midrange device, known as the Vivo Y71. It has been certified by TENAA and you can see its leaked pictures below. We’ve also seen the Y85 leaking recently, so we’re familiar with the Vivo Y Series.

The Vivo Y71 has a notch free design (thank God) and it comes with a 5.99 inch 1440 x 720 pixel display. It also sports a metal unibody approach, judging by those antenna stripes at the back. The whole thing measures 155.87 x 75.74 x 7.8 mm and it weighs 150 grams.

There’s no fingerprint scanner at the back, or at the front. This intrigues us, since there’s probably also not a fingerprint scanner within the screen either. Since this is a budget offering, there’s probably no such mechanism at all. It also comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and a microUSB port. Now we get to the brass tax and talk about the REAL specs: Snapdragon 425 CPU, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, plus a 13 MP main shooter and 5 MP selfie cam.

There’s also a 3285 mAh battery and Android 8.0 Oreo is in the mix too. Sources talk about an April 5 debut with a price tag of $175.
