A few days ago, more precisely on March 27, VLC developers started to spread the 2.5.0 version of the app designed for the iOS devices. Once we update the app to this new version, we’ll be able to play all our movies and shows in most formats directly without conversion.

There’s included support for the most popular cloud-storage services, such as Apple iCloud Drive, Microsoft OneDrive and Box.com.  This new version also brings a 10-band audio equalizer, and the playback dialog now supports titles and chapters.

Beside the new features included, VLC 2.5.0 brings a couple of improvements in the user interface too. We get to know that the app is optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, device that must run iOS 6.1 or a newer version. You can download the new update from here.
