Apple has just updated its Apple Store app for iOS, now reaching version 1.1 and including a product we’ve all been waiting for: the white case iPhone 4. We can’t yet say if this is an upgraded handset and you can’t even order it yet, as the feature wasn’t activated.

MacRumors forum member Bandolier spotted this reservation option, available for white iPhone 4 units in the 16 and 32GB versions. Black models are also available, but sadly once you try to place a reservation or pre-order, you’ll get a message saying that high demand doesn’t yet allow iPhone reservations.

We remind you that the white iPhone 4 has been delayed because of manufacturing issues, that involving getting the color of the Home button in the wrong hue, compared to the rest of the case.
