We’ve seen tons of handsets appearing in white lately, from the Motorola Droid RAZR to the Nokia N9 and now the Galaxy Nexus. The latter is now shipping from online retailers, after a couple of days since the official announcement. The product is set to be available on February 13th, but already some eager retailers are shipping early.

The white Galaxy Nexus is available on Negri Electronics, for example, who started shipping the phone from today already, but with a premium price tag. This is the GSM version, fully unlocked and available with a white case, taking the price up to $660. It’s a steep amount, but some people will pay to own their handset in the purest of colors. This is after all the first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, that should give it a certain priority for future Android updates, plus it looks nice, it’s the first 720p display handset and has a decent camera.

You probably know the specs by now, but it doesn’t hurt to remind you that you get a 1.2 GHz dual core TI OMAP CPU, 16 or 32 GB of internal memory, NFC, 1GB of RAM and a 4.65 inch display with 720p resolution. The Galaxy Nexus’s debut in white on the 13th applies to the UK by the way, so it may reach other regions earlier.
