In case you’ve been holding off from buying a Samsung Galaxy S II in the USA and you saw that controversial anti Apple commercial for the phone, now it’s the time to get one. AT&T will start selling the white Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket this Sunday, following the black version of the Rocket.

The handset comes with a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Plus Display, a 1.5GHz dual core processor, both of these features being an upgrade in comparison to the European version, that packed a 1.2GHz dual core Exynos CPU and 4.3 inch display. Another addition is the 4G LTE connectivity on AT&T, that certainly wasn’t available in Europe. The handset will cost $250 with a 2 year contract on AT&T, although the carrier has yet to confirm the offer.

However, with the Galaxy Nexus coming on the 8th, I’d advise you to stay put and have a go at that 720p Ice Cream Sandwich beauty. At least test it before you buy it and compare it to the Galaxy s II. the choice is yours and if you really want the fresh Android, I guess ROMs will also bring it to the Galaxy S II sooner or later…
